Beachfinder 1.1 has been released, featuring a new News section and location filtering - available to both Pro and standard users.
Beachfinder News Feed
The news feed on the Beachfinder app brings you stories from around the web about the state of Britain’s beaches and waterways. Curated from dozens of sources, these stories are brought to you directly in a new tab. Simply tap on any story to read it right there in the app.
We hope this helps keep you up to date with important stories about our beaches and swimming waters, and highlights why we think Beachfinder is an essential app for anybody wanting to spend time at the seaside, or take a dip in a river or lake.
Location filtering
Did you ever want to just ignore any of those polluted one or two star (or even uncategorised) locations, and focus on the “blue” and “green” locations? Now you can do just that, with the filtering options in the locations list. Just select which category of location you want to hide, and you won’t be bother by them again.
Added to ability to sort locations by distance, which was added recently, you’ll be able to quickly filter down which nearby places are good to visit.
